INSTRUCTOR/ASSESSOR IN TROWEL OCCUPATIONS,
You will be responsible for the work based assessment, supervision, tuition, assessment and internal verification of student according to the requirements of the Trowel Occupation programmes.
You will possess a C&G 6502 Level 3 Award in Education and Training (previously PTLLS) or equivalent qualification, or the ability and willingness to obtain this within 1 year of commencing employment, alongside a Level 3 advanced Craft Certificate or equivalent qualification. Ideal candidates will also have recent teaching experience. You will have good communication skills both written and oral, alongside good organisational skills.
Ideal candidates will have recent relevant industrial experience working in the Trowel Occupations industry, and will be able to demonstrate the ability to instruct students in practical workshops. In addition you will be able to assess and feedback to students undertaking Trowel Occupation qualifications. The ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of people is also a requirement for this role.
