Updata, a part of Capita are looking for an PMO Administrator to jointheir growing Team in Reigate. Role Detail The Programme Management Office is the information hub for projects and programmes within the portfolio and involves tracking/reporting, assurance/quality control, information management, financial tracking, risk/issue tracking, change control, support and knowledge management/learning from experience. The Programme Management Office will add value through the knowledge, skills and experience of its staff. Duties Working with the PMO manager to develop reporting metrics and outputs for MI purposes To improve the planning and delivery process by collecting and maintaining data in a consistent form Assisting the Portfolio team with overall governance and ensuring timely reporting is provided by the Portfolio Managers and Project Managers Tracking status of programme deliverables and milestones Supporting the adoption of the project lifecycle and deliverables Programme level risk and issue co-ordination Monitoring the status of projects transitioning into 'Service' Coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting cycles Co-ordination of project Governance arrangements, Post Project Reviews and Programme level workshops. Key Result Areas Provides detailed guidance on project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques Sets-up, supports and provides detailed guidance on project management software Provides basic advice and guidance on individual project proposals and plans From supplied planning and actual data, uses spreadsheet and project management software to set up detailed work breakdown structures Produces planned and updated project and summary reports, including forecasting resource, cost breakdowns and overall Portfolio summaries Maintains project performance metric data and estimating models. Reviews processes and recommends changes Build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships gaining a wide range of knowledge across the product catalogue, order systems and processes Essential Experience of programme co-ordination/administration Experience of managing small projects, or exposure to the end to end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle Experience of working within a structured project management framework Must be able to interpret Portfolio updates in clear and concise reporting for MI purposes Methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial conformance against an agreed plan Methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects Examples: product/work breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, risk management and conflict resolution What's in it for you?
