My client are looking for a talented AWS Solution Engineer who will design and build a long-term archival solution using Amazons AWS. The service aims to store data in such a way as to provide legally strong guarantees regarding proof of origin and the integrity of data for the very long term.

The successful AWS Solution Engineer will have an opportunity to work on an interesting greenfield project and lead a team of talented developers to deliver a project unique in its requirements.

The role would suit a tech lead with practical experience of building a greenfield AWS solution. They'll have a keen eye for security and cryptographic concerns as well as not being intimidated by breaking new ground with cloud development.

You will possess a minimum of 2 years building AWS based solutions, minimum 1 year of leading a successful software delivery team, show demonstrable experience with creating automated build pipelines, have day to day exposure with Linux and troubleshooting skills.

An experienced developer of software in Scala or Java with a preference and willingness to re-skill to Scala is the ideal applicant for this position, if you have knowledge of Terraform, CloudHSM, S3, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda and Glacier, please get in touch with me ASAP..

Have experience working with DevOps and an aptitude for automation, would be beneficial but not essential.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, to understand requirements, break down work, and deliver features following team-defined Agile practices.

Government experience and security clearance (SC level) are also desirable.
