Team Lead Java Developer / Java Programmer | High profile London based Gaming company are currently on the hunt for an exceptional Team Lead Java Developer to join their reputable server-side engineering team.

As the successful Team Lead Java Developer, You're the role-model software developer in the team, who loves to stay hands-on as part of a leadership role. The Team Lead will have a great understanding of how to deliver complex software using a modern and varied tech stack and adopting Agile best practices to ensure clean code. As part of your role, you will coach and mentor the other developers, help with problem solving and line-managing your team to enable their best work and hit the deadlines. The Team Lead Java Developer will possess a deep knowledge around Spring, Microservices and REST, as well as various messaging tools (JMS / MQ), and due to the large volumes of data involved, and previous experience with NoSQL databases or big data processing tools is also highly desirable. This company has a particular focus on clean rapid released code, therefore the successful Team Lead Java Developer will almost certainly have come from a solid Agile background, with an understanding / appreciation for DevOps processes.
