Calibre Search is currently working alongside a growing independent engineering consultancy, based in Newark. They are going through exciting times there at the moment with several new staff, across all disciplines, joining them to assist in the next stage of their development. They are a vibrant consultancy with a fresh outlook on how a company should oprate, based in modern offices with a genuine interest of investing in their own people to help forge a mutually beneficial career for you. They are currently looking to recruit a Principal Engineering Coordinator, with a Civil Infrastructure bias, to join their team.

It is a very interesting role and one which offers a slightly different career route to that of a normal engineering position. It is a position which requires you to be a very hands on, helping to coordinate and run various types of projects, most notably; market refurbishments, leisure developments and retail work. Due to the nature of the position, it is required for you to be familiar writing Flood Risk Assessments, the process for gaining approvals on S106 drainage applications and detailed drainage design using Microdrainage. With regards to software, it is also beneficial if you have Civil 3D and Revit experience as you will be helping to coordinate all disciplines. Due to this coordination aspect, the more core knowledge you have of other disciplines, coupled with your extensive Civil Engineering knowledge, the more suited to this position you will be.
