They require a Group eCommerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for the management and development of a premium ecommerce user experience across the brand`s websites and for managing the regional and global rollout of the B2C ecommerce platform. This is a key role within the organisation with a global focus on this role and collaboration with all marketing teams, IT, legal and global head office. The role will involve some international travel and will have two direct reports. The ability to speak Italian is essential.   • Drive the implementation of the Group ecommerce strategy ensuring integration with brand and IT teams and in collaboration with the Group Digital Head
  • Understand the ecommerce requirements of the global markets and project manage the implementation of ecommerce stores in all key markets
  • Review existing processes and optimise the consumer journey to exceed expectations regarding site maintenance, training, logistics & distribution, legal and other actions
  • Implement iterative changes to user journeys to improve basket conversion rates through establishment of conversion rate optimisation, testing and measurement process
  • Support local subsidiaries with ecommerce training, analytics and reporting
  • Responsible for the implementation and development of a premium ecommerce user experience across the Group customer`s websites, both pure players and multi-channel.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Combination of a strategic ecommerce approach with a hands-on-mentality
  • Approx. 3 years of experience working in a similar role (ideally for an international, B2C organisation)
  • Must be fluent in Italian at business level
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing ecommerce platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage and influence stakeholders in a global environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with members of staff remotely
  • Very strong analytical skills with conversion rate optimisation experience and ability to spot the problem areas and create innovative solutions to improve the user experience
  • BA or BS degree in Digital Marketing or equivalent qualification or professional qualification in ecommerce or combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO/PPC and Social Media
  • Extensive digital marketing, and/or ecommerce experience with a major global brand
  • Good knowledge of user experience (UX) design
  • Excellent understanding and experience of CMS systems
