A client of ours based in central London are looking for a Systems engineer on a permanent basis. . My client is a FTSE 100 company who own a verity of well known brands.

You will support availability, security, monitoring and stability of the environments. You will be working in a full agile environment and in a DevOps team to understand and participate in defining the strategy behind their infrastructure and drive the migration to new technologies.

The role:

*Define a monitoring framework and continuously monitor the entire infrastructure for preventive actions
*Follow best practice to ensure the security of our environments
*Support environment estates from Dev to Prod using an orchestration framework
*Help with the integration of external applications and dependencies.
*Help to define and maintain a continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline
*Analysis of current capacity and future growth to feed into the company's Infrastructure capacity planning
*Provides occasional out-of-hours support for major incidents requiring 3rd level support.
*Keep on top of new technologies and techniques in the DevOps space to actively promote improvements to their tools and processes
*Facilitate data requirements across all environments


Experience required:

*Experience of implementing Cloud production systems
*Experience working with CI/CD in a scaled Agile environment
*Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes as delivery technologies
*Clustering and load balancing experience is appreciated
*Service monitoring tools experience.
*Ability to work with development teams to diagnose incidents and problems
