1st Line Service Desk Analyst – Manchester – Contract

Role: 1st Line Service Desk Analyst

Location: Manchester

Length: 6 Months +

Rate: £75 per day

A big brand specialist retailer with an impressive heritage, great people and huge plans for the future. The coming 2-3yrs will see a complete IT transformation programme, to support the business' growth plans. We are looking for a Web Content Editor to help drive this change and be part of building and embedding a brand new IT estate, fit to support this growing, dynamic business.

A key role is that of Service Desk Analyst. You will be given responsibility for delivering first class IT support and instilling exceptional customer service in an environment moving toward ITIL.

You will need to demonstrate experience and skills within –

• Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries

• Adhering to all service management principles - ITIL

• Providing support to users of IT infrastructure, hardware, business systems and software applications

• Responding to telephone/email helplines, logging calls and providing immediate support

• Diagnosing incidents, resolve at first contact (where possible) and identify underlying problems

• Ownership of incidents throughout their lifetime

• Providing support to remote users, including occasional off-site visits when necessary

• Ensure ICT service delivery is provided to the agreed service levels
