Service Innovation Manager ( Infrastructure Innovation Lead , 2nd Line Support , Deskside Support )

William Alexander Recruitment are working with a City based, Lloyd?s insurer to recruit a Service Innovation Manager ( Infrastructure Innovation Lead , 2nd Line Support , Deskside Support ) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Service Innovation Manager ( Infrastructure Innovation Lead , 2nd Line Support , Deskside Support ) role will be broken down into 2 main areas:

  • To coordinate and deliver proof-of-concepts around Infrastructure Innovation

  • Go out to exhibitions and conferences; learn about cutting edge infrastructure technology
  • Report findings back to business; carry out proof of concepts; build business cases

  • Primary support as 2nd/3rd line engineer

  • Day to day Deskside support / end user computing
  • Some project work

The following experience is required for consideration:

  • - Second line support
  • - Exchange, Outlook, Active Directory, SQL Server

The following is highly desirable:

  • - Degree educated in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar
  • - MCP, MCSE, CCNA certifications
