Service Desk Analyst- Windows, MS Office

Service Desk analyst required for the Chelmsford office of a leading property consultancy. This individual will be a key asset in the support of 1500 users across 36 UK Sites.

This role will include but is not limited to the following;

  • Provide effective issue resolution by phone, email using remote support tools and in person.
  • Take full ownership of assigned issues ensuring that the customer is kept informed of progress throughout.
  • Take logical steps to resolution; attempt to resolve problems, using appropriate troubleshooting steps to gain an understanding of the cause of the problem.
  • Escalate tickets appropriately, and where necessary to Infrastructure or Applications teams.
  • Act as the regional service desk representative covering London providing local support and proactive floor walking support.
  • Act as a customer service champion, work to transform attitudes across the company towards the Technology Department. This requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication and customer service skills.
