Fantastic opportunity for a Litigation Lawyer with contentious probate experience to work for an accredited Bedford based firm. The Firm Our client is a Lexcel accredited firm based in Bedfordshire. The firm offers a full range of services to a wide range of clientele in the local area and across the wider London and South-East regions. The firm is dedicated to providing an accessible, clear and low-cost service to its diverse clientele, with many of its staff able to deliver advice in a second language. Currently the firm is looking to employ a Litigation Lawyer to add to its growing team of specialists in Bedford. The Role We are now seeking a Litigation Lawyer with two or more years post-qualified experience in a reputable Litigation department. With proven experience in litigation matters including contentious probate, the successful Lawyer will manage a complex caseload to include: challenging wills, trust disputes, inheritance tax disputes, Court of Protection matters, debt recovery, insolvency, bankruptcy and professional negligence. The ability to handle your own caseload with minimal supervision and deliver excellent client service, whilst working to tight deadlines is essential. The Candidate You will:- Be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 year`s post-qualified experience in a civil litigation position; Have proven experience of contentious probate litigation; Have strong IT skills and possess excellent communication skills; A following of clients to bring to the practice is advantageous but not essential; Have good time management skills and the ability to handle a busy caseload; Ensure a client-focused approach in all aspects of your daily duties; Enjoy business development, marketing and networking.
