A Junior Automation Tester job centrally located just outside Glasgow city centre, paying circa £30,000. Receive ongoing training and support in this unique opportunity where you will be supported on your journey to becoming an Automated Testing expert. With a strong pipeline of future projects to deliver, there is now the need to further invest in the team by adding the expertise of a Junior Tester with experience or at least a keen interest in Automation.

Your new role
You will join a growing and well established multi-discipline team tasked with the development and maintenance of a suite of varied and bespoke products and solutions. Stepping into the Junior Automation Tester job role you will hit the ground running working on live projects immediately. You will work closely with the Senior Automation Tester to provide quality assurance across all components of the software development lifecycle, in particular the planning, design, management and execution of tests as well as performing automated testing activities. In this highly agile and collaborative environment, you will adopt both SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies, with your methodical approach to testing ensuring your success.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a real desire to work with and contribute to the ongoing success of a collaborative and high preforming development team. You will have commercial experience of manual and ideally automated testing, with a solid understanding of testing techniques and methodologies. You will be an ambitious self-starter with a keen interest in automated testing who thrives in a multi-disciplinary team environment. You will have either previous experience or a solid understanding of quality assurance and testing frameworks, techniques, and tools ideally Cucumber, Selenium, or Appium.
