Costs Draftsperson required for thriving Leeds firm due to sustained success.

Based in Leeds, the firm is expanding due to sustained success and consequently, it is now hiring a Costs Draftsperson. The office is conveniently located close to local amenities and good transport links.

The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit a Costs Draftsperson to join its team. The role will involve an array of duties which may include: preparing bills of costs; both publicly and privately funded matters; ensuring compliance with assessment and costs recovery rules and; negotiating settlement of claims. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good client care, be highly numerate and have a detail oriented approach to their work. Negotiating skills will be highly advantageous. The position is offered preferably on a part-time basis, however, a full-time basis will also be considered.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role:
You must be a Costs Draftsperson with experience gained from a reputable firm.
You will have experience of solicitors` costs recovery.
You will possess good negotiation skills.
You will have exceptional numeracy skills.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills.
You will work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
