The school prides themselves in their diverse community and they intend to make sure that learning is purposeful for each individual whilst providing exciting learning opportunities for all.This is a great opportunity for Maths teachers with previous experience working with SEN kids to further their experience working with special needs children for future teaching career progression and benefits. The position is for a Maths Teacher to teach pupils between the ages of 7 -17.The role requires a special attentive nature, patience and compassion. You will be expected to lead a Maths class as well being able to support the pupils, occasionally undergoing 1:1 sessions with SEN pupils and monitor they're progression, whilst helping them achieve the targets and goals you set for them. You may also be liaising with parents in regards to the learning plans that you've set for the pupils in order to ensure the parents participate in the pupil's progression outside of school.In order to be considered for this position you will need to have a Maths qualification and previous experience working with children with SEN.
