Senior SharePoint Administrator is required by a highly prestigious financial services organisation bank based in the City of London. You will have extensive SharePoint experience in an enterprise environment with a deep understanding of SP 2010, 2013 & 2016 platforms as well as SharePoint Online. As the Senior SharePoint Administrator using your experience and expertise will be instrumental in influencing the SharePoint usage strategy and subsequent architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the SharePoint Platform, dealing with incident escalations and bringing risks to the attention of management when necessary.
  • Work closely with and provide SharePoint expertise with the infrastructure team to ensure the platform is well managed and maintained.
  • Be the SharePoint Product Owner. Be proactive in the management and evolution of the platform, bring value to the business through the use of features, maintain a roadmap and compile business cases for suggested improvements.
  • Contribute to and maintain SharePoint governance and guiding principles to ensure correct and proper usage of the platform.
  • Work closely with Business Analysists as a SharePoint "functional consultant" to help define, document and deliver solutions that exploit SharePoint's flexibility.
  • Develop customisations that bridge gaps between business requirements and out of the box features.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with other business systems to deliver user experiences which are business aware and avoid the creation of data silos.
  • Lead and manage smaller SharePoint projects through the full delivery lifecycle including solution testing, production release and support.


Experience - Essential
  • Significant experience administering and supporting production SharePoint workloads.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2007, 2010 & 2016 and SharePoint Online.
  • PowerShell to administrate SharePoint
  • Workflow design, creation and management using Nintex
  • Development of SharePoint customisations using languages, technologies and techniques such as: Client-Side Object Model (CSOM), JavaScript Object Model (JSOM), JQuery, C#, .Net, and REST services.
  • Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Experience developing and supporting interfaces between SharePoint and other applications via API's.
