My client are a national firm with a strong presence in the UK, their head office is situated in Nottingham where they have a requirement for a Service Desk Manager.

The primary focus of the role will be the overall management of the 1st and 2nd line team leaders, ensuring that the team continue to deliver the expected level of IT Support to their central support teams.

They are looking for someone with exceptional man management experience with strengths in coaching, mentoring and appraisals in liaison with the Technical Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will come from a Service desk background however managers from a call centre environment will also be considered for the post.

Technical skills:
- ITIL v3 foundation
- 3 years' experience managing a team (including team leaders)
- A good understanding of IT Service Management
- Experience with working with call centre technologies
- Experience working in an ISO environment
