SERVICE TRANSITION MANAGER - LONDON - MEDIA - £50K

Service Transition and Release Manager required to join world renowned media organisation in London!

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the live environment is protected. They will do this by providing management of the acceptance in to service process for the many projects and releases through the SDLC and in to the production environment. They will ensure all associated operational risks are recognised and managed effectively. They will also maintain information relating to configuration items that are required to deliver IT services, all whilst assisting the release management lifecycle through planning and controlling the movement of release to both test and live environments.

Other duties of the role will include:
  • Driving strategy, delivery and ongoing evolution of Service Transition in line with industry best practice
  • Develop a Service Acceptance and Readiness Strategy, as well as requisite policies for projects and change initiatives.
  • Ensure all relevant processes and tools are in place to meet the needs of change and configuration management
  • Communicating and producing management information to all stakeholders relating to acceptance into support and release scope and status


To apply you must:
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in Change Management / Service Transition Management / Service Introduction
  • Strong track record of working in an IT software development and support environment
  • Experience managing change in a complex environment
  • Have a good understanding of software development lifecycles
  • Posses excellent communication skills, able to communicate with multiple stakeholders and partners
  • Be experience in analysis and reporting
