Elastic X-Pack, Kibana, Machine learning, Logstash and Beats

Elastic Search Developer required by highly vibrant and ever evolving publishing organisation based in London. You will work with a solution architect to; design, develop enterprise search, index large data from different sources and formats. You will also apply advance machine learning algorithm to the data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Data Indexing into Elastic search and NoSQL database
  • Responsible for the developing Front-end RESTful API, Data retrieval, Tuning of Elastic search and administering.
  • Work on data streaming technologies such as Beats, Logstash, Kafka, Flume, Nifi, Spark streaming.
  • Responsible for working with Elastic search full Stack and developing APIs
  • Responsible for developing JSON, RESTFUL API for Elastic search and Graph customization.
  • Building and maintaining RESTful APIs XML, JSON, SOAP API's with good knowledge of Javascript, JQuery and AJAX with Kibana.
  • Responsible for Elastic Search RESTful API migration to third-part web applications
  • Work in a DevOps environment
  • Implement the tools and processes, handling performance, scale, availability, accuracy and monitoring


Key Requirements:
  • Experience of DevOps type operations - use of source control (GitHub, Stash), Build tools (Puppet, etc)
  • Experience of Elastic search on Cloud Infrastructure (AWS and G Cloud)
  • Excellent experience in Enterprise search technologies and Elastic search machine learning algorithm.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of large data indexing and building elastic search based advance search UI.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture
  • Excellent experience in Elastic search plugin ecosystem and strong Elasticsearch synergy
  • Be fluent in at least 2 Object Oriented language, preferably C# and Python
  • Proven ability to work with data engineering teams and understand complex development systems and patterns
  • Cassandra or MongoDB, (is a plus)
