Austin Fraser are supporting a market leading family-run consumer healthcare based business who are going through a time of growth and expansion and because of this, they are looking for a Development Scientist to join the team!

The company pride themselves on being innovative and are passionate about the growth that has been visioned for the next few years to come.

As a Development Scientist, you will be essential in supporting new product development (NPD) from concept to market stage whilst building strong working relationships with third party suppliers and ensure effective delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring technical information is correct and complete
* Ensuring product dossier will be suitable for submission
* Ensuring products are compliant with legislation that is relevant to them
* Using technical knowledge to support the feasibility and development strategy for new product concepts
* working with contract development partners and packaging suppliers and manufacturers to construct formulations and packaging solutions
* Planning development activities and managing delivery of project objectives
* Compiling accurate formulation data, specifications and technical dossiers/files for submissions to Regulatory authorities
* Working with suppliers to ensure claims are supported and artwork is compliant with regulations and legalisations.

The products are mainly Pharmaceutical/OTC and Medical Device products so the ability to gain lots of experience across a multitude of products is avaliable to you if you are interested!

* That you have a good record of new product development experience from concept to market
* Strong ability to develop strong working relationships with third party suppliers
* Good attention to detail
* Self motivated and keen to get stuck in!
