Role requirements:
  • Leading the division definition and compliance of Governance, Quality, Delivery, Risk and Security processes, representing the division in programmes. Establishing a coherent divisional Disaster Recovery programme, a Quality maturity plan
  • Accountable for ensuring the division operates effectively through unambiguous operating model. Document and maintain the divisional governance framework and operating model
  • Assure the division gated processes are applied to change/demand such that DoA alone is not sufficient to approve - business owners' prior consent is gained prior to gates
  • Accountable for the administration of division's Operational Excellence governance boards for Risk Management, Quality Management, SHE, Certifications, Security & DR.
  • Accountable for determining the divisions' current and target risk level
  • Accountable for ensuring divisional and functional risks and mitigations are well defined, measurable and for ensuring individuals are acting in a timely manner to proactively implement mitigation actions, and for tracking and reporting delivery of such actions to achieve the target level.
  • Accountable for defining, documenting and maintaining a divisional Disaster Recovery plan
  • Benchmark the divisions' current and target Quality maturity. Establish divisional quality plan and division management team agreed actions to meet target maturity level
  • Establish coherent transversal Disaster Recovery plan for the division and confirm RACI
  • Provide divisional liaison to corporate functions and initiatives (Security, Quality, SHE, Risk, etc)
  • Lead the division Cyber Security Forum inputs and transformation actions

Essential qualifications
  • OGC Risk Practitioner, or equivalent qualification
  • Methodology and process as it relates to projects - APMP, PRINCE2, Agile
  • Degree qualified

Desired knowledge and experience
  • General management experience
  • Experience Risk management and risk mitigation at an operational, delivery and business unit level
  • Knowledge of best practice BCDR and experience of designing DR plans
  • Quality management knowledge and experience
  • Delivery assurance (or projects) experience, including managing gates within a gated lifecycle methodology
  • Programme management experience of large complex bids and/or projects
  • Experience of designing business operating models and governance frameworks/ToRs
  • Leadership experience and demonstrable evidence of influencing a business to adopt and comply with critical business processes
  • Experience of implementing process design and process change
