Role Purpose:
Operating within the service and transformation function, working closely with cross-domain teams, the Domain Architect works in partnership with the business' and IT to manage and transform technology to deliver on long term enterprise architecture plans, which are closely aligned to the firm's IT and overall business strategy.

With a focus on driving transformation within the business, you will work alongside the Back Office team to determine how to implement change and with Service Management to support ownership of key critical services. You will have a strong influence and input into how the architecture vision and plans are implemented and supported on an on-going basis.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
The key responsibilities of the Domain Architect role are to become the recognised and consulted 'go-to' for architectural design and documentation; to deal with specific problems or changes within the domain through the application of technology. Balancing the impacts of maintenance, support and stability of existing services with the needs of the change and transformation programs.

Day-to-day, the Domain Architect is responsible for:
*Maintaining specialist knowledge of the technologies and vendors of the domain;
*Creating/maintaining interface catalogues, data models and reference models to define business continuity and business impact;
*Agreeing and approving all deviations on customizations and architectural guidelines;
*Translation of business outcomes and overall IT vision / conceptual architectures in to logical architectures and transition states;
*Taking a strategic view of project & domain objectives, deliverables, business benefit realisation plans and business implementation plans for projects from an overall design and integration perspective to ensure sound methodologies are applied;
*Ensuring changes align with the originating business objectives as well as supporting the delivery and operation;
*Leading or supporting the creation of project architecture direction in the vision statement of new initiatives;
*Working closely with the Service Managers to develop an intimate understanding of the business value chain and business processes within the domain;
*Actively supporting and consulting all projects within the domain as a member of the Architecture Review Authority (ARB);
*Ensuring Service Management and Enterprise Architecture stakeholder sign-off as-is and target domain architecture;
*Identifying opportunities to improve business processes;
*Aligning with other architects, be single face to the delivery teams for all solutions on integrations and landscape.
Key Requirements
Essential - all domains
*Experience in applying architectural principles into program delivery along with an awareness of modelling tools and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman;
*Demonstrated business and commercial experience;
*Experienced with business change / transformation programmes;
*Understanding of agile methodology and the associated ways of working

Vision for domain:
Our enterprise systems will, over time, shift to a suite of Software as a service (SaaS) line of business applications, all sharing data through a Cloud integration platform. HR will be completely transformed moving from the current platform to SaaS tools and standard data integrations. The finance applications will continue to evolve, once live, first moving to HTML5 user interfaces and then ultimately to SaaS as our strategic vendors evolve.

The management of other business processes, such as facilities, project management and more will be globally standardised and follow the same architectural principles to drive higher levels of service and greater business insight.
*Experience in general enterprise application and system interaction including (but not limited to) - security, customer applications, ERP, marketing systems, etc.;
*Experience in multiple HR and finance systems, examples include (but not limited to): Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce, Oracle, ERP, Java, .NET, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ADP, Cornerstone, ERP, IntApp, Thomson Reuters Elite (TRE), Infra, Service Now, SCCM, Jira, Workfront, Troux, MEGA, etc.
