.NET Developer

To lead projects through the lifecycle, including cost to benefit, PID, specification, delivery through to post benefit analysis.

To recommend improvement to the development platforms and processes.

Maintain IT standards and policies with regard to hardware, software, and security.

Work on their own and as part of a team. Candidate should be self-motivated with the ability to handle pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.


Key responsibilities of .NET developer:

  • Project lead in Web System projects
  • Technically support all IT projects where required
  • Building web applications/interfaces in line with best practice and compliance
  • Comprehensive Testing of all new development work
  • Ensuring that all Internal IT Applications and Interfaces (IITA&I) and their users are supported to an excellent standard.
  • Ensuring that all (IITA&I) are professionally documented, including user manuals, testing schedules, Code, Application Objects.


.NET developer:

Excellent understanding of current Web technologies

Ability to lead a project team to deliver successful projects

Excellent Oral, written and inter-personal communication

Analytical and problem solving

Team ethic

Self-management

Skills:

Software knowledge in HTML 5, CSS 3, ASP.NET, JQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, consumption of web services and C# is essential.

Software knowledge in the following an advantage, but not essential

MS Access, MS Visio, VBA, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel

Prince 2 Qualified – preferred but not essential
