My client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst where you will lead on discussions with all parts of business to identify and develop a suite of reporting outcomes that will provide management information to underpin a culture of continuous performance improvement in the delivery of efficient, cost effective services to our customers.
They anticipate the need for a continuous review of Key Performance Indicators, management reporting, Live dashboards, graphical output and trend analysis across all existing functional areas and new ones that will be developed as we implement new systems. You will identify and successfully implement business improvements to processes, operating practices and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery is achievable.

General:
To work within the ICT team to develop my clients Business data and reporting strategies, identifying and agreeing priorities with the business for
* Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
* Management reporting from the Data Warehouse environment
* Management Reporting via standard outputs from Housing & Repairs system
* Performance reporting to Statutory Authorities
* Performance reporting for tenants
* Development of trend analysis and other statistical correlation using business Intelligence software
* To facilitate reporting output across a range of platforms, including mobile working and web applications

Specific:
You will be hosted in the ICT Team to provide business analytical development and support.
We anticipate the role will encompass:

* To maintain a register of all existing reporting outputs as a basis for rationalisation and being able to monitor and record development in this area
* To identify within the above register the most appropriate outputs for reporting, balancing the business needs for data against the possible business disruption of providing such data in real time
* To liaise with the departments to agree, develop and prioritise their reporting requirements
* To set up and manage a Business data group with users
* To develop a Business Data and reporting strategy
* To work with user departments and the ICT Team on strategies to identify and continuously improve data quality
* To facilitate self-sufficiency presentation and configuration of reporting outputs
* To implement Business Analytics reporting tool, currently the Tableau product
* To develop a working understanding of Dimensional Modelling within the Data Warehouse to be able to support its re-engineering for the new Housing product and its on-going development
* To be aware of the impact of GDPR (Geneneral Data Protecton Regulation) in the provision of reporting outputs
