Test Analyst required for an exceptional team, in one of the fastest growing sectors within the Internet of Things space. The role is based near Chester.As the Test Analyst, you will be responsible for defining and implementing relevant Test Strategies and Approaches including Non-Functional testing. You will be responsible for tracking defects raised during testing; liaising with the wider team and business stakeholders. You will ensure that all aspects of quality assurance are considered within a software deliver lifecycle, working with developers, analysts and product owners to ensure a continuous improvement takes place.
This role provides an opportunity to work on exhilarating projects that have the potential to disrupt the automotive industry. You will have exposure to big data tools such as PIG, SPARK and HIVE and be will be working within an incredibly ambitious and intelligent Tech Team with the opportunity to really develop your Testing Career.
The role requires a Test Analyst who is deadline driven with the ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced yet rewarding environment. The role requires the aptitude to make decisions around appropriate test approaches, with strong collaboration and communication skills.Skills & ExperienceExperiences working in Agile/Scrum teamDevelop high-level test plans, test scripts and templates Develop detailed Test Cases against user stories Experience testing web, mobile and desktop applicationsStrong knowledge of using tools such as POSTMAN for integration testing using JSON, XML, SOAPAbility to quickly understand new technology and how to approach testing while adapting to suit programme requirements.Good communication, problem solving and documentation skills
The salary on this position is flexible £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience.
