My client urgently seeks a Full-Stack .net engineer - Data Science / Analytics to join their modern, London based offices amongst their Analytics and Technology team.

The ideal Full-Stack .net engineer - Data Science / Analytics will assist colleagues to help deliver real-time and offline predictive models and systems delivered through Rest API's, hosted on Azure.

The successful Full-Stack .net engineer - Data Science / Analytics will be a part of a small, close knit team of Developers and Data Scientists and required to bring a strong work ethic, pitching in and a huge desire to learn. You be someone with enthusiastic passion and self-starter attitude who will be exposed to Data Science and Machine Learning.

Main requirements for the role:
  • You have excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • 1+ years of modern JavaScript development (React, Redux and Node.js)
  • Proven track record of building performant and scalable REST APIs.
  • Previously developed for a cloud environment (Azure or AWS)
  • 5+ years of C# .NET or Scala development
  • You've used best-of-breed techniques and architectures (e.g. DDD/Event Driven Architecture, TDD/BDD, REST, SOA/micro-services, CQRS)
  • You understand and know how to apply agile principles, practices and patterns.
  • You have exposure to automated deployments and continuous integration (TeamCity, Go, VSTS)
  • A basic understanding of machine learning or artificial intelligence. (Nice to have)
  • Experience in containerisation, specifically Docker. (Nice to have)
  • Experience in Python, R or other similar languages. (Nice to have)
  • Knowledge of ETL and big data technologies ideally Spark. (Nice to have)
