Integration Programme Manager. Circa £95k + £9.6k Car Allowance + 30% Bonus + Full Corporate Benefits Package. Middlesex. Ref: T6/MN/17000.
Large European FMCG / Retail related organisation is seeking to secure an Integration Programme Manager - to lead business critical IT integration programmes that have been driven by the acquisition of large Europe organisations. The role will involve travel to European sites – the travel schedule will be organised by the incumbent, so can be staged accordingly.
The role will also focus on the IT integration of future acquisitions to time, cost and quality.
The role will sit within the senior management team and report directly to the CIO.
ROLE:·Lead acquisition integration projects for the Group ·Provision of short-term essential business requirements to ensure operational effectiveness prior to full integration (eg. group reporting requirements)·Lead the Infrastructure integration: across network connectivity, Cloud, end user application services and site services·Application integration: this is predominantly SAP based·Manage 3rd party providers - SAP and Microsoft providers and contract resource ·Decommissioning of obsolete legacy based systems / applications ·Ensure a well structured and defined programmed and project delivery framework - delivering integration to time, cost and quality and within budget ·Ensure adherence to ITGC SOX controls and IT Governance ·Assist with defining the integration budget with CIO·Identify risks and areas for improvement ·Input into the short, mid and long-term IT Strategy as part of the IT Management team
Competencies, Skills and Experience:·Practical application of IT project management life cycle principles·Engagement of stakeholders and project resources to successfully deliver an ambitious IT programme ·Knowledge of SAP landscape and deployment principles and requirements·Knowledge of how to organise for significant programmes including business change and juggle competing priorities·Ability to work within a European environment is essential·Strong demonstrable programme & project management experience - to time, cost and quality ·Extensive integration experience - across ERP and applications - understands the challenges and complexities of IT integration ·People management - ability to lead and build a strong team ethos within and outside of the programme, able to motivate and get the best out of individuals ·Analytical - engage the business, both internal and external stakeholders - able to understand and define the business needs and align them to a standardised landscape/environment ·Competent in managing multiple competing priorities - able to clearly focus on what really matters and plan accordingly to deliver against ambitious timescales·Must be able to challenge and have an opinion ·Strong influencer able to gain buy-in from senior business management and stakeholders ·Must have a ‘make it happen’ mind-set; and be proactive, pragmatic, combined with a sense of urgency·High levels of accountability·Inquisitive mind-set – have the instinct to ask the right questions to get to the heart of the issue·Be a change agent – be an advocate for change and able to articulate the reasons and benefits behind change·Collaborative approach to delivery and operational effectiveness, able to lead a small internal team, combined with large external 3rd party teams·Budget management capability
Desirable:·Experience of leading acquisition integration – ideally across Europe ·Delivering technology enabled change but within a risk-managed environment – ideally SOX·Experience of leading SAP implementations ·Experience of delivery integration programmes within the FMCG, Retail or related businesses/sectors ·Experience of operating with and programme managing outsourced and offshore service providers, in an international context.Keywords: SAP, SOX, Programme Delivery, Programme Management, SAP.
