I'm searching for Rail professionals with experience of working on Smart Ticketing projects within Digital Wallet / NFC, ITSO & Mobile. You'll be leading on the delivery of projects aligned to the ticketing strategy and will provide support to the Delivery Board on significant issues and provide recommendations for resolution. Key responsibilities: Devising project plans for and assuring delivery of, the relevant projects from the ticketing strategy, which may include mobile, contactless, smartcard and other ticketing technologies. Working closely with management to ensure visibility and tracking of all key activities upon which the ticketing strategy is dependent.Devising and ensuring delivery of the project's customer proposition. Taking appropriate mitigating action when a key activity is threatened. Depending on the nature of the threat, the action may be a stakeholder management, project support or commercial action. Managing the day-to-day business relationship between the organisation and the various delivery parties Ensuring risks, issues and assumptions are actively identified, documented and managed and to take appropriate resolving action where needed. The role holder should maintain a documented list of dependencies and manage the interactions between all elements that result in delivery of the project. You will be directly responsible for highlighting and proposing solutions for commercial, technical and project issues. Most of the problems that occur will be outside the post-holder's direct control (as they will be occurring within stakeholders, or will be caused by policy changes in Government) but you will be responsible for developing solutions in conjunction with these partners and escalate as appropriate. You will need to identify emerging issues so that an immediate solution can be found. You will be required to apply analytical, interpretive and constructive thinking and adopt a pragmatic approach. Technical Competencies (Experience and Knowledge) Experience and strong capability in stakeholder managementThe ability to work in a team environment and nurture strong cross-functional relationships Experience of executing projects across multiple contractual parties Outstanding communication and collaboration skills Demonstrably logical and methodical mind-set Experience of delivering through commercial contracts Experience of developing, influencing and maintaining relationships quickly with groups with disparate views and agendas Experience of working in a regulated environment Knowledge of project management methodologies These are Contract roles and rate / start date can be discussed in detail on the phone (02079073868).
