A highly reputable Pharmaceutical company is seeking to hire a new Medical Affairs Manager to provide support for all the medical activities including the pre-launch phase of an exciting new product launch, managing existing promoted products and a robust pipeline.

The individual will function as a therapeutic area expert in the delivery of factual and current information relevant to the company's portfolio of medicines and be a key individual in the development of ABPI / ABHI / IPHA code compliant promotional and educational material, as well as develop strategic & collaborative relationships with KOLs. The role covers the UK and Ireland geographies contributing to medical plans and providing insights derived from the medical and scientific community.

A Medical Advisor or Senior Medical Advisor with a medical or pharmacy degree is desired. The position requires prior Medical Affairs experience involving significant KOL engagement and in-depth knowledge and /or experience with the ABPI code of practice. Familiarity and involvement with clinical studies / investigator initiated studies is desirable. This is a high profile role, with high accountability for the therapeutic medical strategy and new product launch. A strong strategic thinker, with robust communication skills and ability to demonstrate cross-functional working abilities is required. The role sits within the Neurology and Immunology team, although therapeutic area knowledge is desirable it is not a requirement for this position.
