A leading MedComms agency is looking for a Medical Writer to join their medical education team.
You will be utilising excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop and create medical education copy for a variety of materials whilst ensuring this adheres to client specifications, ABPI regulations and budgetary requirements. Projects can include but are not limited to; presentations, publications and digital platforms.

The Medical Writer will be expected to develop and deliver materials, implement briefs and effectively communicate with external and internal stakeholders while maintaining their knowledge of therapy areas and the pharmaceutical industry.

Role / Description
Main Job Responsibilities:
* Working to create a range of marketing/advertising materials.
* Explaining complex concepts in simple ways to a range of audiences whilst ensuring it adheres to ABPI, local guidelines and client specifications.
* Helping create concepts and ideas.
* Attending award ceremonies (e.g. PM awards)
* Domestic and international travel may be occasionally required.

Candidate Requirements:
* PhD qualification (Life Sciences)
* Minimum 6 months as Medical Writer/Copywriter
* Proven medical writing experience as part of a medical communications team
* Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations with experience of working to ABPI.
* High level of organisation and time-management.
* Pro-active and enthusiastic.
