Are you a software developer that likes to work on projects autonomously? Do you like to make your own decisions on how to tackle a piece of work and throw ideas around with other developers? Would you rather get cracking on the actual development than get sidetracked with endless meetings?
If so, this could be the role for you. This role would also be of interest for someone from a Games developer (c#) background that is looking for a new challenge.
Our client is a well-established business located in the beautiful town of Lichfield. Due to growth they are now recruiting for a CAD developer to join the team. They offer a relaxed environment, in which a passionate programmer will thrive. You will be given projects to work on both alone and collaboratively with other developers. There is a good deal of autonomy and lots of opportunities to decide for yourself on the best course of action to take. You will need to have a background in mathematics and/or engineering - this is essential. Mathematics, geometry and algebra is core to the nature of the work so it will need to be a personal strength of yours. If it is, and you love programming, you will be right at home here!
Primarily due to their power and size, our client's CAD solutions are created for desktop Windows systems, however with the everincreasing reliance and use of the internet there is a shift toward developing web based companion or standalone versions of the same.
Our client can offer you a good career path and lots of interesting project work to get your teeth into. Lichfield is commutable from Burton on Trent, Walsall, Rugeley, Derby, Stafford, Uttoxeter, Tamworth and Birmingham - the offices are just a short walk from the train station which is a main route to Birmingham New Street.Interested?
