Job Description



Purpose of the requirement: (e.g. what will be the goals and objectives of the person?):
  • Continue with existing development
  • Maintain existing development pace
  • Follow current development patterns and guidelines
  • Help maintain the project WIKI and transfer the knowledge base

  • Java Development Experience (1.7)
  • 3 years +
  • Java development - taking business requirements and translating them into technical designs
  • Producing, maintaining and unit testing application code
  • Commercial server side development
  • JMS



  • Spring 3
  • 1 year +
  • Involved in building microservices that expose REST client interfaces
  • Integrating with ESB services via SOAP over JMS
  • Connecting to andmanipulatingdatabasesusingJPA, Hibernate
    • Strong communication skills

  • Role involves liaising with a number of different stakeholders and feature team members. Must be collaborative and articulate both written and verbally.
  • Experience of using WIKI type tools (Confluence etc.)
