A rare opportunity with a Global leading pharmaceutical company with extensive heritage in diabetes is seeking to hire an entry level Medical Advisor to provide medical affairs oversight for key and future brands in diabetes and chronic diseases.

The position sits within the UK team with an innovative pipeline of diabetes products, with a potential blockbuster launching next year and a new product launch every year for the next five years. The position will drive numerous medical affairs projects including advisory boards, publications, investigator sponsored studies and clinical activities. Furthermore, the role will scientifically guide and educate Healthcare Professions and internal teams.

A GMC registered physician with diabetes / metabolic / endocrinology expertise and knowledge of the medical affairs industry is required. The position requires a strong personality with good team skills and an ability to forge strong relationships with commercial groups, and strategic partnerships with KOLs in the diabetes community. The candidate will be responsible for pipeline and marketed products and therefore a strong strategic thinker, with robust commercial acumen and good communication skills is needed.
