Junior Digital / Web / E-commerce Project Manager
My Client, based in Nottingham / London has embarked on a major e-Commerce investment program (including re-platforming) and is now looking for a Junior Project Manager with either re-platforming experience or experience of project managing the delivery of a web-site launch. You must have excellent experience of full SDLC project management, have worked on at least one element of a website launch or a re-platforming program and be adept at project planning, project scheduling and risks and issue mitigation. This is a role requiring no more than 2 years Project Management experience as you will be supporting a Senior Business Change PM. You must have had experience of managing the delivery of a website / digital / ecommerce project (from a front-end perspective) and of managing business cutover planning, defining potential key failure scenarios and highlighting their impact on the business and customers. It is essential you have developed plans for business cutover, including plans for sanity testing, cutover night and resource requirements and identified and captured the expected benefits from a re-platforming or website launch program. You will be project managing configuration of the system (not back-end development) so it is your communication skills, ability to think on your feet and deliver to tight deadlines that are important here. What is a must is that you have supported project planning, scheduling, managed risks and issues, timescales, deliverables, project scheduling, cutovers, and implemented a benefits tracking mechanism. This is a greenfield digitalization program including a Hybris re-platforming so is a great opportunity to develop your PM skills and really make a difference to my Client’s digital footprint. The role is based 100% in Nottingham so you must live within a tenable commute and have less than 3 years’ experience as a web / Digital / E-commerce Project Manager.
