Job Overview

The role is critical to enable SP UK to meet its public health and financial commitments by ensuring that the fundamental business requirements are clearly defined and tracked. The role has specific accountabilities within the business operations team including the key function of tender preparation and management as well as specific accountabilities that reach across other departments. The person will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the vaccine business, have strong project management skills, an ability to influence cross functionally and will routinely interact at the UK leadership team level and with regional and global teams.

Responsibilities

Job Description

1. Tender Mgt

- Prepare, Submit and Manage all UK/IE tender opportunities
- Horizon scan and track upcoming tender and framework opportunities
- Interact with HA's on tender specifics and requirements
- Prepare all tender documentation - working cross functionally as needed
- Manage internal processes and sign off requirements
- Upload & track tender & framework obligations
- Oversee rebating process

2. Business Unit Performance Tracking
Identify and track key business unit KPIs

- Work cross functionally to identify business critical KPIs across all functions
- Develop and update LT dashboard
- Develop measurements for associated KPIs
- Track and report achievement of KPIs

3. Business Unit Calendar Development
Ensure SP is fully prepared for all business critical events

- Develop yearly cross functional business calender for SP
- Track future requirements and ensure relevant teams aware
- Develop clear objectives & timelines for critical business unit events
- Work with regional / global teams to ensure all touchpoints captured
- Regular LT updates

4. New Product Planning
Ensure SP well placed to maximise new product entrants

- Work closely with global, regional and local regulatory on new product timelines
- Identify all date requirements to understand and forecast opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of relevant data and forecasts
- Work cross functionally with business insights, Access, regulatory and medical to prepare SP for new product entry

5. Project Mgt
Build project Mgt capabilities

- Regular use project mgt tools to track critical Ad-hoc projects as required
- Work to continuously improve project mgt skills
- Develop & coach project co-ordinator

Ethical Leadership

- Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (including the Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements); and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Project Management skills
- Ability to collaborate with technical colleagues and commercial colleagues
- Vaccine therapy area experience an advantage
- Analytical and problem solving skills specifically market analytics
- Communication skills - Ability to translate data, analyses into business trends/outcomes
- Integrity, tenacity, resilience and adaptability in complex situations
- Education: University degree

Terms of Employment

This will be a head office based role (Maidenhead) with occasional travel to Lyon. There would be flexibility to work from home one day per week if necessary
