Technical Sales / Project Engineer required to join a highly successful Engineering business. Permanent

Your new company
I am representing a highly successful and expanding SME who design and manufacture bespoke products which are supplied to a variety of industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical and steel just to name a few.
The business are looking for an experienced Technical Sales candidate who wants to work within a close knit environment and to have the opportunity to be able to make a real difference.

Your new role
This role has the potential to adapt and grow as you see fit, eventually giving you autonomy to make your own mark on the business and this position which shows real potential.
In addition the organisation are currently in the design process of a new product, and are looking a candidate to support them through the project life cycle.
The business requires someone to carry out a variety of duties including (but not limited to):
- Finding and following up leads
- Business Development of products to new and existing clients
- Manage quotations, contracts and proposals
- Provide technical support both internally and externally
- Cradle to grave project management
- Liaising with the Design department, as well as other internal departments within the business

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a technical background with Engineering, and have carried out similar duties to the above role.
You must be a very versatile employee to be able to deal with the variety of work duties required of you.
You will support the Managing Director but also have times where you will be working independently, so having the ability to manage your own workload and prioritise.
Communication is key, and you must be able to present technical conversations to non-technical individuals within the business
IT skills are essential for this role, and an ability to produce and manipulate data, and present that data to senior management would be a desirable.
