BACKGROUND

Field based role

PRIMARY DUTIES

Medical Science Liaison responsibilities include:

Provide field-based medical and scientific support to respond to specific requests from healthcare professionals

Deliver fair, balanced and unbiased scientific and/or educational presentations reactively (in response to a specific request) to healthcare professionals, either individually or in groups (meetings, clinical sessions, etc.).

Deliver credible, fair, balanced and unbiased scientific and/or educational presentations to healthcare professionals

Provide scientific and clinical support for, and help maintain professional and credible relationships with, key opinion leaders and academic centres.

Attend relevant national and international scientific meetings/congresses

Produce and update scientific and clinical presentations

Provide field-based support and training to the sales force

Present scientifically credible data packages at advisory boards when required.

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including the ABPI Code of Practice

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Previous MSL experience is essential

Pharmacist / PhD / Life Science Degree Essential

Ability to work field based and to travel frequently within territory and internationally for conference attendance
