Stephanie Maccioni is currently recruiting for a Data Acquisition Specialist to join a global Pharmaceutical company for a 12 month contract based in Hertfordshire.

Main duties and responsibilities:
-Provide data collection expertise to study teams as an extended member and primary contact for data collection of non-CRF data; document key information about planned non-CRF data for the team in the Data Handling Strategy document.
-Responsibility for the production of non-CRF data collection specification documentation.
-Responsibility for the establishment of transfer, the receipt and upload of non-CRF study data.
-Develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendor contacts on a study basis, participate in vendor selection activities for a study in collaboration with study teams.
-Apply data collection standards at the study level with understanding of downstream processes
-Collaborate with Data Standards Office to define study data collection standards for new assessments and collaborates with them to implement new standards.

Key requirements:
-BA/BSc degree or equivalent and moderate industry-related experience
-In-depth understanding of the business of his or her sub-function and the greater CDM organization
-Understanding of business partners and stakeholder environment and their impact on internal company process
-Understanding and utilization of company data collection standards, CDM processes, procedures and guidelines with respect to fit-for-purpose.
-Ability to work under minimal guidance.
