JOB: KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (Key Account Specialist, Territory Manager, Medical Sales Representative)

CONTRACT: Maternity Cover Contract - Start Date ASAP

TERRITORY: LONDON

THERAPY AREA: Women's Health, Fertility, Reproductive Health, IVF

COMPANY:

- As a Sales Person within this company, you will be given autonomy and accountability for your business

ROLE:

- This is a specialist account management role, selling in a highly emotive therapy area. As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for high profile accounts throughout your territory.
- Within your role you are responsible for both private and NHS business, so need to be aware of the drivers for all levels of Customers.
- Due to the nature of the portfolio, the majority of your time will be spent in Secondary Care and CCGs, developing advocates, increasing product usage, removing funding barriers and developing patient pathways in order to maximise business. You will also be required to see key players in the Primary Care setting if they are relevant to your business.

MAIN ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Territory / Key Account Management of a portfolio sell
- Formulary submission and pull through
- Product positioning via guidelines and associated pull through
- KOL / Advocacy Development
- Networking - with both internal and external stakeholders
- Removing funding issues at both CCG and Procurement level

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Pharmaceutical sales experience covering this geographical area
- Ability to prioritise based on business opportunity
- Track record of sales success in the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to develop lasting business relationships and have the skills required to work in partnership with both the NHS and private practitioners
- Full, UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- ABPI qualified

IDEALLY YOU WILL:

- Strong key account management skills
- Good understanding of the NHS drivers in this area
- Self-motivation to drive the sales on your territory and be goal orientated to exceed expectations
