Our client is a business unit within a fully listed engineering products oriented PLC.

UK based manufacturing facilities serve a global customer base who are active in the power transmission, lifting, processing and conveying sectors.

Reporting to the MD, the job holder is responsible for achieving the sales/profit objectives of the industrial product range through distributors & OEM sales channels.

The Role

  • Lead and management the industrial sales team [3] in growing sales at a rate more than 5% pa
  • Increase market / customer awareness of the product range
  • Actively manage key distributors and build confidence and trust with these and other customers by delivering quality products on time and in full.
  • Review commercial processes and procedures and make changes where necessary.

The Candidate

  • Graduate calibre sales professional who can demonstrate success in selling manufactured goods through distributor / OEM channels.
  • Previous sales team management experience is desirable in a role in which the appointee will both embrace and be motivate by change at the same time as fostering an environment of accountability and discipline.
  • A self-starter with sound business judgement who can work with the minimum of supervision.
  • High level skills in these areas: negotiation, presentation, numeracy, multi-tasking
