An exciting opportunity to join an award winning full service communications agency as an account executive with their team at their Surrey offices. You will be assisting with management and delivery of the full range of medical communications services to ensure the smooth running of projects.

Project Management:

- Set up basic administration for files, including contact details, copy of original proposal, specification documents, and budgets
- Develop and maintain plans for accounts.
- Manage the project review process
- Co-ordinate submissions for abstracts and publications
- Meeting management, including logistics, faculty management and associated materials
- Produce realistic project schedules and adhere to them
- Take minutes at meetings and produce status reports
- Effectively brief colleagues
- Liaise with external suppliers to obtain quotes
- Ensure project are correctly resourced where appropriate

Client Handling:

- Proactively manage and handle the needs of Clients and Opinion Leaders
- Produce professional and appropriate written documents for Clients and Opinion Leaders

Financial Management:

- Maintain files of up to date financial information
- Reconcile simple projects and assist with complex reconciliations
- Monitor financial status of simple projects and proactively inform AM/AD of any budget and specification issues
- Assist with the preparation of project specifications/definitions and budgets
- Assist with preparation of financial information for tracking meetings
- Actively participate in tracking meetings as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Excellent Life Science/ Communications Degree along with excellent academic record
- Interested in communications and pharmaceutical marketing
- An enthusiastic team player
- Motivated for personal development
- Proactive
- Creative, inquisitive and have good listening skills
- Approachable, keen to learn, organised and conscientious
- Computer savvy
