My Client, a top 200 law firm are looking for a Solicitor to join their Dispute Resolution Department at their offices in Chester city center. The firm service a wide range of clients and individuals and deal with a vast amount of interesting and niche work, the Dispute Resolution team being no exception.

About the role?

You will be a Solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales with between two and five years’ post-qualification experience. You will be working as the assistant to a Senior Partner who is well respected within the industry. You will be responsible for handling a caseload of interesting and often complex commercial litigation and insolvency litigation matters.

You will possess an excellent academic record and have a proven track record working as a Solicitor and dealing with a case load of Dispute Resolution matters.

You should have experience in as many of the following areas as possible, although experience is secondary to having the enquiring approach and skills described above:

You will be dealing with shareholder disputes; partnership disputes; disputes arising out of mergers and acquisitions; professional negligence; contractual claims; Supply of Goods and Services; breach of restrictive covenants (in an employment context); insolvency litigation; injunctive relief.

You should also be confident running a case load with minimal supervision.

You will have strong commercial awareness and have excellent organisational skills. You will be an excellent communicator and have strong attention to detail.

This position is a full-time position with normal working hours being from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional travel required to another main office.
