The Access Project, Volunteer and Communications Director
The Access Project has developed an innovative programme that has evidence of addressing a huge social issue: we’re now growing to reach even more young people. We aim to reach 2,000 young people by September 2019 - a huge step up from our current reach of just under 1,300.
The Volunteer and Communications Director will be a key figure in realising this growth. They will be an experienced marketing professional who will build a relevant and fresh brand that appeals to The Access Project’s key audiences.
They will drive innovation and professionalisation in our marketing to volunteers to ensure we can recruit enough excellent graduates to volunteer as tutors for our students.
The Volunteer and Communications Director will be one of 5 permanent Director-level positions, and as such will have an important leadership role across the organisation: in role-modelling to staff; accountability to the CEO and Board of Trustees; and in direct leadership of their teams.
