This is the perfect opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant (ACCA/ACA qualified/part qualified) with a minimum of three years’ experience to join this passionate accountancy firm. As this job involves lots of Client Contact, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you are excellent at handling a large client base, creating long-lasting client relationships with the ability to take on responsibility with the potential to work up to managerial level.

You will need a clean driving licence as there is a potential to work away from home driving to client premises.

Audit experience would be an advantage but not essential.

The main responsibilities for this Semi Senior Accountant job in Birmingham include: 

  • Accounts Preparation for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, LLP’s & Charities
  • Attending client meetings
  • Overseeing the work of Junior Accountants
  • Completing tax computations for both personal and corporate clients
  • Attending client meetings
  • Overseeing the management of client files
  • Reporting to the Manager

The perfect Semi Senior Accountant will be ACCA/ACA part qualified with a minimum of two years' experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for this role as the successful Semi Senior Accountant will be expected to progress into a client facing position. You must be well presented and able to work well within a team. 

The Semi Senior Accountant will have strong organisation skills, good interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate well with others. This is a Semi Senior Accountant job ideally suited to those who wish to work in a client facing environment and someone who is looking for their next step within the public practice sector, with potential to work up to managerial level.
