About the department

Our client is the market leader in Ostomy and Continence Care Care and you will be joining one of the most successful and established nurse teams in this industry sector. They have developed excellent Partnerships with NHS Trusts across the UK to support and deliver clear pathways of care for people during their Ostomy journey. Their nursing team Care Standards are RCN accredited and are CQC registered.

The job

As a Care Nurse Manager your primary focus will be to identify, develop and grow commercial opportunities for the Nursing Service within the Region. This is a crucial management and customer facing role, responsible for all aspects of operational and strategic management of a commercially focused Regional Nurse programme.

You will need to work collaboratively with the Regional Business Leaders and the NHS Partnership Managers to deliver the perfect customer experience, adapting marketing strategies to meet your customer needs where required. This position is covering the Midlands, Birmingham, Worcester, Stoke, Stafford and Nottingham and reports into the Nurse Director.

This position offers a high degree of autonomy together with the opportunity to be at the forefront on commercial decisions regarding the success of your region.

You should be a commercially astute professional nurse with a proven track record. You will need to be a strategic thinker with capacity for creative problem solving. You will possess a strong and decisive leadership style and be able to coach and develop your team.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with managerial and preferably commercial experience

Degree or equivalent

Person/Experience Required

Minimum 3 years managerial experience: preferably in a commercial organization

Strong understanding of the NHS landscape and how it affects local delivery of healthcare

Excellent business, negotiation and networking skills

Exceptional Business Planning Skills

Demonstrable Key Account Management Experience

Analytical skills and high levels of curiosity

High standard of oral and written communication, including well developed presentation skills

Experience of writing and delivering clinical and business focused messages

Ability to demonstrate strong product and clinical knowledge
