The Role:

We currently have an opportunity for a Performance Manager based in our Belfast office. You will gain invaluable experience, based within a Regulatory Affairs environment with exposure to some of the world's leading pharmaceutical breakthroughs. You will work closely with upper management and Team Leads autonomously to deliver project goals for some of the world's most prestigious pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Integrate into client environments to effectively lead project teams while building positive, professional relationships with clients and associates.
- Define, plan and control performance activities to fulfill objectives and satisfy project requirements.
- Develop and drive integrated performance plans, aligning project tactics with performance strategy.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, with individual Team Leads and Associates.
- Establish, maintain, and lead high performance project teams, serving as the performance advocate within the client organisation.
- Lead, coordinate, facilitate, and motivate all associated performance resources to gain alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Lead performance risk management within project teams, ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Manage performance within established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting and exceeding IPM project management standards.
- Develop and document high-level strategies for accomplishing specific performance and project objectives.
- Facilitate and lead effective performance meetings, manage change and conflict, and develop resource planning estimates to manage project workload and productivity.
- Support project management team members to ensure success of projects while maintaining customer service focus.
- Working within tight, business-critical deadlines in a highly regulated environment.Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 5 year's performance management experience - ideally within a large site environment
- Proven ability to manage Team Leads and multiple projects.
- Knowledge and application of a disciplined performance management process (Performance/Leadership Management Certifications would be an advantage - see Desirable Criteria).
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
- An effective communicator who can build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences at all organisational levels.
- Sound technical aptitude and proven ability to grasp general knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies with superior computer usage skills.
- Demonstrate proven ability in project planning, performance management, and advanced organisational skills with the ability to lead multiple activities and resources while maintaining a focus on quality.
- Solid analytical and strategic capabilities and business acumen along with demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct and appearance.
- Ability to produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.Desirable Criteria:
- A Third Level qualification or equivalent in a Leadership or Management related discipline.
