We are looking for a Key Account Manager, to join our team, who has experience of working in the UK and is ideally based in Kent-Sussex.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

- Take responsibility for the preparation of formulary submissions for Vifor Pharma UK products, ensuring that they are of the highest standard and submitted in a timely manner
- Co-ordinate the submission activities of the various expert managers and clinicians, who contribute to the submissions process
- Optimize Vifor Pharma UK's ability to gain fastest possible access for our products and drive positive market environment for the use of iv iron
- Develop relationships with key influential bodies to optimize IV Iron uptake
- Where appropriate, actively manage budgets on an ongoing basis, to ensure budget compliance
- Nominate, and where appropriate, develop advocates for speaker meetings - attending national and international congress as appropriate
- Maintain high levels of product knowledge - especially key clinical papers - changing clinical practice and customer knowledge at all times, and participating in training programmes as appropriate
- Be aware of developments in the NHS and local issues, assessing implications and communicating to the wider team, as well as tailoring local activities to adapt strategy and tactics as appropriate

We are looking for an experienced profile with the following requirements:

- Qualified, experienced Medical Representative with the ABPI - Medical Representative's Qualification or equivalent experience
- knowledge of the relevant therapeutic areas (gastroenterology, cardiology, heamatology and/or care of the elderly)
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant protocols and compliance guidelines
- Significant experience of Key Account Manager / Sales role in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience within NHS
- Experience of working with commercial teams
