Professionalism, quality of craftsmanship and excellent customer service are the benchmarks of a great Gas Plumber. Organising your own workload, you’ll take a real team oriented approach to your activities. You will work to all current Health and Safety legislation alongside our other policies and procedures. Through our in house manager/mentor group, you will be involved in your own personal development.
An NVQ Level 2 qualified Gas Plumber with CCN1 Core Gas Safety & Appliance certification, including CPA1, or equivalent, you’ll have experience installing heating systems and sanitary ware. Fault finding expertise and the ability to proactively repair systems are essential and you’ll also have a domestic plumbing background. It is desirable that you will have at least 12 months remaining on your current ACS qualifications and experience of unvented hot water systems.
Gas Plumbing might seem like a very male dominated career, but here at Berneslai Homes, we relish the idea of balancing out the gender split. That’s why, in these new roles, we’re just as interested in hearing from talented, ambitious female Gas Plumbers as we are their male counterparts. It’s about recruiting the most talented people out there – regardless of gender.
