Role : Branch Manager

Location: Buckinghamshire

Purpose: Overall responsibility for daily European Road Freight operations

Package: upto £55k basic + Benefits

Our client is a haulage and freight forwarding company based in Aylesbury. They handle Import and Export shipments of fresh and manufactured goods within Europe and in particular France for groupage and full load shipments.

You will have overall responsibility for the everyday operations of the Branch and their financial targets such as Branch Profit.
Responsibilities include managing Daily Operations, overseeing Customer Service, Sales activity, Staff Management & directing the daily business at this location.

You will be responsible for overseeing all operational activity in the branch in relation to Air, Ocean and Land Freight.
To ensure full compliance with the SOP's and guidelines issued by the respective product/service.
To develop strong relationships with the parent company including, sales, support functions and customer service to ensure branch targets are met.
To deliver on both group and branch KPI's.
To develop short, mid and long term Strategic Plan for the Branch and ensure clear goals and activities are in place for all branch activities.

To apply you MUST have an in-depth knowledge of Multi-Modal Freight Forwarding - Airfreight, Sea freight LCL, FCL & Break-Bulk, Road Freight.
Significant people management experience within the FREIGHT-FORWARDING sector.
Experience of leading and sustaining cultural change within teams.
