Our client, a Wholesale business with their Head Office based in Nottinghamshire is seeking to recruit a Photographer to join their Studio team.

Reporting directly to the Studio Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all of the photographic requirements for the company and will support the design team in producing artwork for a wide variety of marketing collateral.

Working with stakeholders across the business including Marketing, Ecommerce, Operations, Buyers and Merchandisers, this role will be pivotal in co-ordinating photography schedules and samples.

Key responsibilities:

Produce high quality images of products to be used on ecommerce channels, marketing materials and internal communications, ensuring that standards are maintained, following briefs and design guides.

Responsible for the photographic studio and equipment, ensuring that it is maintained to maximise quality.

Manage the image library under agreed processes, including auto-transfer of the library to the web, and ensure that all images are processed correctly (lighting, removal of backgrounds, naming and fling correctly), either in-house shots or images from suppliers.

Photographic content for online and print; including lifestyle, pack shots, and location based photography.

The construction of sets for lifestyle photography.

Work alongside multiple departments to coordinate samples to and from the studio, ensuring samples are kept in excellent condition and accurate records are kept.

Photography of products from across the company range to agreed standards and meeting company guidelines.

Use industry standard software to retouch images to a high standard ensuring quality and colour accuracy.

Maintain company image library to ensure product accuracy across multiple platforms.

Essential experience:

Solid commercial photography industry experience gained in a similar role.

Knowledge of Canon DSLR camera system.

Excellent knowledge of studio and location lighting.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Capture One.

Good understanding of colour management.

Good working knowledge of image metadata.
