Technical Infrastructure Project Manager

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to join a market leading organisation based close to Old Trafford in Manchester. You will be working on a wide variety of end to end concurrent projects ranging in size and budget. At present there is a large security project which you will be getting involved in as well as projects involving desktops and data centres. This is a technical position where you will be expected to know a lot about IT infrastructure as you will remain fairly hands-on whilst delivering these project. You will be responsible for budgets and working with stakeholders up to Director level. There is loads of training/professional qualification opportunities as well as the ability to progress naturally through the ranks.

As the Technical Infrastructure Project Manager you will ideally have over 2 years’ experience in a technical project management position working on multiple and concurrent end to end projects. As the Technical Infrastructure Project Manager you will ideally hold a Prince2 qualification or similar and have a background working in a technical infrastructure capacity. You will have experience working with a wide variety of infrastructure technologies (ideally desktop/windows and/or network security) and could be hands on if required (although this is a full project management position).

Technical Infrastructure Project Manager Skills

  • 2 years+ experience managing multiple concurrent projects across the full lifecycle
  • Experience working in a technical project management position
  • Previous experience in a hands-on infrastructure capacity
  • Project management qualification (Prince2 or equivalent)
  • Ideally some experience working on a network security and/or windows desktop project
